This victory propelled West Ham to fifth place in the league table, and they now seek to further tighten their grip on the top six by closing the gap to Tottenham Hotspur, who sit just three points above them. West Ham's home form has been particularly impressive, with three wins and a draw in their last four league matches at the London Stadium.

Brighton, however, present a unique challenge. Despite facing numerous squad issues,They have consistently picked up points. In their last five games, they have only suffered one defeat, a 0-2 loss to Arsenal. Brighton men even managed to stun Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in their previous match, showcasing their attacking skill despite missing several key players. Brighton currently sit eighth in the table, just one point behind Manchester United in sixth.

However, their injury challenges are set to deepen for Tuesday's clash. Lewis Dunk, their powerful defender, will miss the game due to suspension, while forwards Solly March, Julio Enciso, Ansu Fati, Simon Adingra, and Kaoru Mitoma will all be absent through injury. Defenders Yoel Veltman, Adam Webster, and Tariq Lamptey are also excluded. Despite these setbacks, Brighton's recent form and attacking spirit cannot be underestimated. West Ham will need to be at their best to secure the three points and extend their winning streak.
