The Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks meet in Game 1 of the NLCS (National League Championship Series).  Philadelphia has a 49-32 record in home games and a 90-72 record overall. Arizona has gone 41-40 on the road and 84-78 overall. Monday's game is the eighth time these teams square off this season. The Phillies are ahead 4-3 in the season series. Arizona has been a heater this season as they have never made it to the NLCS series ever before and if somehow they do beat Philly in this best of 5, it would be the first time ever that Arizona made it to the world series. Both these teams are powerhouse at hitting and scoring runs when the other teams top pitchers are not in , that is not the case here as the pitcher for philly has a ERA of 2.08 and Arizona's pitcher has a ERA of 3.19. I believe this first game will be a low scoring game but Arizona is really unpredictable.
