The 2023 Major League Baseball season is scheduled to begin on March 30, with the regular season planned to end on October 1. Before that there is spring training and this is like most sports they try and use new players in new positions and only play 7 inning instead of 9. Also the game can end a draw, Example it can end 4-4 but in regular season it can not, a team must win eventually. This is a very hard time to bet the game as u never know who they are going to play or if they care if they win or lose. 

Major League Baseball released their 2023 schedule on August 24, 2022. All teams are scheduled to play 162 games. This will be the first MLB season of a new balanced schedule in which every team will play each other at least once like in the NBA and NHL. The new balanced schedule includes 13 games against their division rivals and 52 games overall against division opponents. Each team will play six games against six opponents and seven games against four opponents in the same league for a total of 64 games. Each team will also play 46 interleague games. Teams will also play a four-game home-and-home series.

For me this is better as my team Toronto Blue Jays wont be just playing teams in their division which is jacked with Boston and the Yankees and will give them a even better chance to go further then they did last season and they did extremally well. This season i project they will make the playoffs ...lets hope lol

Some other new rules put in place this year include

-   In regular-season games, all extra innings will start with a runner on second base.

-   All three bases will increase in size from 15 to 18 inches (38 to 46 cm).

-   Infielders cannot switch sides of the infield before a pitch is released.

-   A team behind by eight or more runs can use a position player to pitch at any time in the game.

This season should be a great season of baseball, below is the top power ranking for this year.
