Players can submit 1 pick per day and in the course of 1 month have to submit a total of 10 picks in order to qualify for the competition.

Edmonton Oilers VS LA Kings 

Observation- Both teams are playing very good this season scoring lots of goals and defeating top teams in the league. Edmonton is 5th in their division and LA is 2nd in the same division. Edmonton is scoring a average of 3.5 goals a game and LA is scoring 3.2 goals a game average. Both teams are tied for goals allowed at 3.33 each per game. The last match up was 3-1 for LA. LA and Edmonton are almost the worst in the league for penalties which means they get scored on a lot in power plays and both teams seem to get a lot of penalties, which normally means lots of goals. 

Observation is over 7.5 goals  for 2.98

Benfica are singlehandedly the best Portuguese team at the moment. This Taca de Portugal game is going to be a one-sided affair and no matter how hard the home team tries, Benfica are going to hammer away and score plenty of goals. There’s no other team in the Portuguese top football division that has attacking stats as impressive as Benfica. With 38 goals scored in just 15 fixtures, Benfica will most likely trash Varzim on Tuesday. The two teams played plenty of games against each other at the beginning of this millennium and Varzim were lucky enough to score against Benfica. Nevertheless, those days are long gone and time hasn’t been too kind on the home team since then.

Varzim have certainly had better days as the club is currently fighting for survival in LigaPro. The club is in 17th place and after 34 games, the players accumulated only 35 points. You can’t hope to remain a LigaPro participant when you have only eight victories, 11 draws, and 15 losses. The players must change their mentality sooner rather than later.

Newcastle are looking very solid in this season of the Premier League, competing for places in the Champions League zone and have a good stability, rarely dropping points in unnecessary cases. The team somewhat lost their enthusiasm in the attack after coming out of a short pause, however, the opponents during this period, they were not easy. I believe that in the League Cup they will try to go as far as possible, given the ambition and the quality of football. As for Leicester, everything is not so rosy here and the club has considerable difficulties in the championship, being located in close proximity to the relegation zone. They have lost three previous matches in the Premier League, including being beaten by the current cup opponent. I think it will be low scoring match.

My betting pick will be under 2.5 goals 2.05 odds.
