Dragon Hero- Pragmatic Play- (Quick Review)

It has been a while since we have seen an oriental slot release from Pragmatic Play I believe and Dragon Hero is kind of an Oriental DogHouse Style slot. It is a 5 reel, 4 row slot with 20 pay lines and you need 3 or more scatters to trigger the free spins.

The game runs smoothly but I found the sound effect accompanying this game a little anoying, the graphics are very average but the bonus does have a fairly unique mechanic. Like I said this slot is a bit like an Oriental themed DogHouse slot with a twist. The twist comes in the form of the dragon heads which can shoot out up to 3 wilds randomly onto the reels. The dragon heads can land in the base game but are not sticky like they are in the free spins! You can buy the bonus for 100x but go careful this is quite a volatile slot and zero Xbonuses can be fairly frequent. Once you have landed 3 or more scatters you are taken to spinning reels a bit like the ones in DogHouse and the number of spins you get are awarded.

    

Once the spins start the action begins and you have to land as many dragon head that spit out wilds as you can. Each time you land a scatter the amount of wilds the dragon heads spit out is increased on one position, the maximum any one dragon head can spit is 1. The dragon head is wild and once you get a few this game can go off! (The Max win is 5,000x)

        

Each time a scatter lands it awards an extra Ying Yan symbol to one of the dragons, this indicates how many wilds that dragon will spit. The ideal game would be to get as many spins a possible from the reel drums and then land as many dragon heads and scatters as you can, getting wild lines on this game is pretty easy once you have landed a few dragons and scatters. A wild line pays 60x so a full screen would be 1,200x.

Overall Dragon hero is a good game but aesthetically  and acoustically I think it is lacking and although similar and almost as much fun to play as Dog House I don't think this slot will become as iconic as Dog House the original. Still a solid release and worth playing to try and get as many wilds as you can.
