Never Write off the Long Shots! Massive Horse Racing Win

Book Makers are probably the most knowledgeable people in the world about horse racing. They have eyes and ears everywhere making sure that they get their prices right and most of the time they do get it right. The favorites listed by the bookies often finish in the top spot but not always and if you like a gamble on the long shots now and again you will love this post!

                                     

Now you can follow form and study horses for as long as you like but this is racing and anything can happen and at Newcastle race track Wednesday just gone we saw two massive priced horses win within 30 minutes of each other. The first horse was Endofastorm ridden by Phil Dennis in the 1 mile handicap race at 125-1 and this horse finished 8th in his last race on Friday before this race!

The next race went off 30 minutes later and at the same track both horses came out of gate 5 and this time Notimeforanother won the 13.20 Novices stakes at 100-1. For both of these horses it was the first wins of their careers and neither had many place finishes either. For Notimeforanother this was a massive improvement as he finished last out of 7 on this same track on the 28th of November.

This just goes to show that you can never tell in horse racing and when the prize money is small like it was in these races then trainers and other people that are involved in the sport may try and find ways to make money in other i.e. like betting on their own horses at inflated prices. Crazy imagine having the double on this, it would have paid 12,500-1 if you had a 100e on it 1.25 million! I would not say no 😄 Sometimes it is worth picking a long shot as you  sometimes may get lucky.

Thanks for the information, it is clear that the more knowledge you have about the subject, the better the chances of getting it right or having a profit. By any chance you have not found any video material. I feel that if I make the first bet I will win, because of the "beginner's luck" and then I will lose hahahaha.
