Happy New Year and we have a couple of games on Sunday the 1st Jan 2023 and the first premier league teams to kick off in the new year is Tottenham V's Aston Villa. This on paper should be a win for Spurs but Villa have a new manager and have been slowly climbing the league table. Spurs will also want all 3 points here to keep them in the champions league places. So although this won't be an easy game for Spurs I think they will win.

The second games see's Chelsea travel to Nottingham to play Forest and although Forest are fighting I think they are destined to be going down this year as they just do not have enough strength in depth to stay in the Premier league but I might be wrong and like I said they are fighting. However I think Chelsea will win although an upset could be on the cards as Chelsea's form has not been bullet proof this season. Chelsea are currently 8th and if they do not take all 3 points here then manager Graham Potter may have to start thinking about a new job.
