Baseball teams get to much $

The New York Mets current payroll is estimated to be around $384 million. The luxury-tax payments alone will exceed $111 million. Their total payroll projects to be $495 million. The previous max payroll in baseball: less than $350 million. Mets are at almost half a billion. The amount of money being passed around in these top league sports is just crazy half a million dollars just to find new players and trade .

just look at the top 5 players on the Yankees , 1- judge gets 360 000 000 9 yrs , Him on a live interview said it works out to be 5$ every breath he takes for the next 9 years

just to play baseball meanwhile , half the world has less then 50k a year to live ... maybe we should be giving or allowing these sports to not have so much money and spread in there communities instead

to be fair it is hard work but in the end its still just a sport 500 million a team .... there are 30! teams thats 500 000 000 x 30 thats 15,000,000,000 15 billion

NHL hockey teams were allowed to spend a pro-rated $70.2 million there are 32 teams thats 2.2 billion for hockey in these 2 sports thats almost 20 billion dollars

even if u cut that in half 10 billion dollars id say could help out a lot of struggling people/ countries in the world

yes this is true some do a lot for there communities and a lot also going into lower levels of the sport

Looking at the salaries of all professional athletes, I am amazed at the exorbitant amount they earn, I respect the profession, but there are professions that deserve better remuneration. Like gamblers hehehehehehehe
