Gronk's Gems- Hacksaw Gaming (Quick Review)

A fun new game from Hacksaw Games is out and it is something a little bit different from their normal style. Gronk's Gems is one of their slightly less volatile games and is really quite fun!

Gronk's Gems is set on a 6x6 grid and you need 5 or more symbols to get a win. There are 2 bonuses as is becoming standard on most games these days. Gronk's Treasure and Gem Hoarder. They are both pretty volatile and hard to land in the base game. The Gem Hoarder is the more volatile of the two bonuses and this is where you will expect to win the massive 7500x Max win. This is lower than average for Hacksaw games but like I said they are being forced into mixing things up.

                                 

The Gronk's treasure bonus, you have to land 3 Gronk face scatters to trigger this bonus and if you do, you get 10 free spins. In the bonus you have an increased chance to land the super gem. The super gem is activated if you get a win when it lands, then it will collect all symbols on the screen that you made the win with in the first place. This is a volatile bonus and costs 110x to buy.

The Gem Hoarder bonus is the better one in my opinion and costs 200x to buy, in this bonus you start with 5 spins and if you land 3 of the sack scatters you get the 5 spins refilled. You need 3 sack scatters to trigger this bonus and for each win you get the multiplier increases. If you make a win with the X super crystal attached then the win is multiplied by the win multiplier at the top, very much like the bonus on some of Hacksaw's earlier games like "stack'em"

Overall it is a solid slot and has quite a different feel from Hacksaw's early releases. It seems like they are branching out into new areas of slots and this grid formation isn't unique but it feels sounds and looks quite different from any of their other releases. Pretty good game, very very volatile and bonus buys are expensive and I did not get one profit buy out of about 20 bonus buys! Tread careful with the volatility of this game.

i never got into this is way to volatile unless u buy the super its almost impossible to get a good hit

seems to just rip for me not 1 profit 5 buys but it was the treasure one not the hoarder one

I like to gamble based off statistics and probability.

I'll feed the slot minimum bet 50-150 times. No bonus? Time to go $1 bets.

It works out okay, but sometimes I wont get a bonus after 500 spins. The likelihood of that is stupidly low

I really think that Hacksaw Gaming slots are the most volatile and that although the winnings can be higher than in other slots you need to spend more money.

I try to avoid volatile slots, I know for a fact I wont get max win so Ill go for like minimum 1k x

So I dont play hacksaw often
