Gambling Strategy- The 2% Rule.

Over the years I have heard many a tale about how someone has this fool proof gambling system that is guaranteed to win and the next time I see them they have gone broke! This is because gambling is gambling and in the long term it is very likely you will lose. But there are ways that you can give yourself a good chance to make a profit.

                                                    

The Gambling 2% Rule:

The strategy I want to talk about today is very simple and it can be used by experienced gamblers or complete novices, it also links in to my gambling spread sheet post I wrote the other day, as keeping an accurate record of your bets, win and losses will also help you to become a more successful gambler.

The 2% rule means that you never ever bet more than 2% of your bank roll on any one bet! So to keep things simple you have a bankroll of 100 Euros. Your first bet will never be more than 2 Euros, 2% of the 100 E starting bankroll. Now this will give you at least 50 bets @2euro. And in those 50 bets you are almost certain to have a few winner, unless you are a complete Jonah and get really unlucky.

Now staying at 2% means if you start to make good profits, which can and will happen if you study the stats properly you can start to bet more. Say if over 20 bets you double your bankroll to 200 Euro, the 2% now becomes 4 Euros.

This system can continue to rise the more bets you win, keep an accurate record on your spread sheet and make sure that you stay disciplined and always stay  at the 2% of your total bankroll. You will start to notice patterns forming if you keep a good spread sheet record and you can also work out how much 2% on your roll is very easily. The 2% will make the monetary sum bigger the higher you climb above the 100 Euro starting bank roll and smaller the more losses you have as you dip under the 100e start. 

If you use this method of always sicking to 2% you may not always win but it will give you a lot of bets and value for your money in terms of excitement attained from the fun of sports betting and that is what is supposed to be about- Having fun and if the fun stops, then you stop betting!

I agree this is a smart way to gamble but personally, I think it's way too time consuming. Making small bets doesn't really get my heart beating that's why I do 20% to 100%. I once had a 2k bankroll and I would just chuck it all into live wheels 😎

im the opposite i like small bets to get to my goal maybe 1 or 2 big bets if i get up
