We saw a couple of strait forward matches last night, France beat Poland and England cruised past Senegal! These two teams will meet each other in the next round of the competition and that will be some match up. Tuesday see's 4 other teams that made it out of the group stages go head to head in a knockout battle and for two of them their dream will be over. Spain face off against their African neighbor Morocco in what should be a great game, I do feel though that Spain have the psychological edge as well as the better team in this one. Should be a Spain win but for anyone that is watching this one there will be more diving in this game than in an Olympic swimming pool!

Portugal face their bogey team Switzerland and there is a good chance the Swiss will progress here I think. Tactically the Swiss are getting it right so far and sure they don't have the superstars like Ronaldo but they are well organized and will put up a great fight. This game again I think will see a lot of play acting and players going down at the slightest touch trying to con the referee. In the 22 meeting between these countries it is 11-11, I think the Swiss may just pinch this one.
