World Cup 2022 Mon 5th Dec- (Knockout Stage)

Another round of knockout matches on Monday 5th and we see Brazil who have just been in action V's S.Korea who made it out of their group quite dramatically. The other game is Japan V's Croatia and this should be a great contest. The big question is will we see any East Asian teams go through to the next stage of this competition?

S.Korea will be somewhat boosted by the fact that Cameroon beat Brazil, although Brazil fielded a weakened team from the start. This match could be close and if S.Korea can tap into that fighting spirit they showed by coming from behind to beat Portugal then anything could happen. If statistics are anything to go by then at least one of these matches should be going to extra time! As the average is about 1 in 3 knockout matches go to extra time and maybe penalties.
