So the group stage of this years World Cup is almost at an end, we just have the games today left to play and haven't we had a few upsets. Last night we said goodbye to both Germany and Belgium who both failed to progress from the group stage, for Germany it is the second World Cup in a row. This after them dominating the sport for so many years and always seeming to make the last 4 of the tournament.

So will we see any more shocks in the knockout stage? Well I can't say categorically that we won't but looking at the fixtures I don't think we will, I think the nerves will get to Australia and I really don't think they have enough to beat Argentina, the Netherlands V's USA match could be the game in which we see the underdogs win. The USA have been steadily making progress and to be fair the Netherlands have looked pretty average. So we could see this one go to the United States.
