I am sure that many of us will be having a bet or two on World Cup Games but do you think that this news from FIFA just 2 days before the start of the World Cup will effect results? The crowd plays a big part in any football match, upbeat and noisy supporters often give their teams a boost and help the play better, subdued and quiet crowds often have the opposite effect. So will FIFA ban on alcohol sales at the World Cup Stadiums effect results?

Well I guess all we can do is wait and see, this is sure to be one of the most controversial World Cups in history and as the first one ever held in the middle east there could possibly bit trouble and protests. Qatar has very bad human rights records, LGBT rights and alcohol are sure to be news headlines and may even over shadow the football. It is all getting exciting and I for one predict there maybe clashes and even violence outside and inside the stadiums.

The answer though to will the alcohol ban have an effect on match outcomes, then I think it may as football fans do not like having things taken away from them and especially at the last moment. I think crowds may become irritable and fill them self up with booze at their hotels before the game. This could lead to crowd trouble and clashes with the police and this may filter through to the players in some games and effect the results. So my advice to you guys is pay close attention to what happens before the match and place strait up bets at the very last minute before kick-off!

I must say that I don't like what is going on with this world cup... crazy costs, slavery, underpaid workers many people died on this project....

I wonder why they spent so much money on this.... they will not make it back.. This is just a nice game for some oil rich guys.. 🫤

There is no doubt this will be a controversial tournament and there will be protests for sure, I guess it depends on how the police and security deal with it all. But it is going to effect the football and the results 100%
