Super Stars - Netent Gaming (Quick Review)

Now I am not sure if this slot is just out of desperation from Netent to try and remind us of all the great games and characters they have made in the past but Super Stars is a mish mash of legendary Netent stars from previous slots.

                            

Super Stars features Gonzo from Gonzo's Quest, the lady Pig from Piggy Riches, Finn from the Twirly Spin, a monster from Space wars and the familiar Star from Starburst. The base game is very average in my opinion on Super Stars but the bonus round is really quite a lot of fun. You need to land a diamond on reels 1 and 2 and a dice on reel 3 to trigger the bonus round.

                                 

You are then taken to a board type hold n spin bonus and the aim of the game is to land cash prizes and dice to get rolls around the board. The game engine on this one takes a lot to run it smoothly, so you have less than 8GB of RAM and a decent processor I wouldn't play it.

                                                

There are plenty of things to land on once you start rolling the dice and they help you build up the cash values that drop down into the grid in the middle of the board. Each character that I mentioned above has a special ability that increases  the win.

               

The game looks and plays great, the concept is also very unique but it just seems somehow Netent can't really compete anymore with the other providers. I know they have it in them and I love their games, this one is ok but don't feel it will get anywhere near as many spins as it should. So is it a marketing problem for Netent? Well probably not with Evolution pulling the chains we should be seeing a lot more Netent games being played by streamers but in truth we don't and I have to ask why is this?  Take Super Stars for example, it is made to the highest of standards, looks great plays terrific and the sounds are pretty awesome too but I have not seen this game played on any stream I have watched and this is a shame.

Overall good game with a really fun and exciting bonus round.
