Gambling and Sex Drive....

I thought I would just put this out to the community and I realize it may be a bit embarrassing for some but have any of you noticed any correlation to gambling and your sex drive? 

If I have had a crazy session and been gambling all day and even longer sometimes, there is no way I feel like giving the Mrs any attention at all, I realize this could be a sign of gambling addiction and maybe I am spending too much time playing and maybe I should address this. It seems like I am realizing things as I write this post, stuff that maybe I should change about my gambling. I mean if I gambling too much to keep my girlfriend happy, then that is not responsible gambling...is it?

                                            

The reason I wanted to ask you guys if you had experienced anything similar is because I wanted to find out if there may be a link between dopamine which we get from gambling (I wrote a post on it not long ago) and our sex drive. I mean if I have exhausted my dopamine glands or where ever it is produced, in our brain maybe, from gambling all day, then I am not going to want to do anymore dopamine releasing activities like sex am I?

So whilst writing this post I have realized that maybe I am gambling to much too often, I should definitely not prioritize my gambling over my girlfriends needs in the bedroom and maybe there is a link between gambling for too long and your sex drive? 

Anyways I would love to know your thoughts on it and P.S. Everything still works ok I know I am getting old but it still works!  😛

Garf this is not just you man! For me it was mainly spending all my time watching gamblers and of course gambling myself as well but the mrs started noticing not only was i ignoring them and not spending as much time with the kids but our... MY... sex drive left completely. I found yes i was really tired after a long session but also had no ambition to even wanna try. So i took some time off of twitch and gambling to figure out WTF was going on, in the end we came to the conclusion that i was only gambling to get away from all the stresses in my life and putting everyone else second. After about a month off we got our drive back .... big time ... and now we compromise the amount of time gambling and watching streams and sex lol

I think the answer might be to have sex then watch streams, in that order! 😄 Glad it is not just me tho.
