Mastercard is a U.S. payments company with approximately 25,000,000 Mastercard, Cirrus, and Maestro members worldwide. Mastercard serves consumers, small and large businesses in 210 countries and territories. The Mastercard card is accepted at 32 million locations including 892,800 ATMs worldwide.

The company is working on turning cryptocurrencies into an everyday payment method, partnering already with crypto exchange Gemini to issue a credit card with cashback in cryptocurrencies and has also partenered up with Binance to launch crypto debit cards in Argentina.

Mastercard expanded its advisory activities to include the purchase of cryptocurrencies. This month, the company introduced a new product called Crypto Secure for monitoring digital assets and protecting against crypto scammers. 

One of the big key areas that Mastercard is working on is the transformation of the cryptocurrency into fiat in the fastest way possible so payments can be done with 0 worries. For that, the company, has partnered with several leading crypto-focused firms such: Paxos, Circle, Evolve, and Uphold.
