Players can submit 1 pick per day and in the course of 1 month have to submit a total of 10 picks in order to qualify for the competition.

Jeffrey John Wolf upset a couple of big servers in back-to-back matches to move into the semifinal in Florence. He delivered a comfortable straight-set win over the reigning ATP Newport champion Maxime Cressy in the second round and followed it with a three-set comeback win over the reigning ATP Montpellier champion Alexander Bublik in the quarterfinal, 6-3 6-4 and 3-6 7-5 6-1, respectively.

Mikael Ymer started his quarterfinal match against Roberto Carballes Baena as the firm favorite and put in an assured performance to get the job done in two easy sets. He got an early break in both sets and converted six of the seven breakpoints he created on the Spaniard's serve, 6-4 6-2.

Though both players are equally capable of beating each other, Jeffrey John Wolf has performed marginally better this week and expect him to have a slight edge in this evenly poised semifinal clash.

Observation- Is it good bye for the returning champs??? I think so ! so far in this series Philly has show that they are not messing around and after the win last night of 9-1 they are coming into game 4 with a lot of confidence. The odds are in favor of Atlanta but i feel the pressure will be to much for them to handle and philly can afford to lose 1 so the pressure is off them.  Noah Syndergaard for Philly (pitcher) has 10 wins 10 loses and a ERA of 3.94 this season is up against Charlie Morton, he has 9 wins 6 loses and a ERA of 4.34. With the momentum in Philly's favor and good odds have to go Philly here.

MOVISTAR VS ETERNAL FIRE

I'm sorry but MOVISTAR used to be my most favorited underdogs team back in the IEM Cologne 2022 with the former CORE member before the change to Martinez...

Miss you Sunpayus. Made me so much money now playing for ENCE but good job for him for the upgrade!

MOVISTAR RIDERS:

Ranking 15th, they had a terrible run the past 3 months with only a 16.8% WINRATE. WHAT HAPPENED? 

After SunPayUs left - their greatest awper, they fell off and were unable to keep up with the other A-Tier teams collecting DEFEAT after DEFEAT! Losing to (B-C)-Tier teams like B8, SC, ECLOT and to...

Really disappointing. Martinez has potential but he lacks the impact Sunpayus had and that GAPING hole left has forced him to fill it which puts a lot of pressure onto him. 

Maybe It's about time for MOVISTAR to drop down to C-Tier teams because with the absence of their greatest player/AWPER. It's over. Goodbye Movistar just when a Spanish team had only started winning...

Their last match against MOUZ proved they are not built for it. Completely gave up and destroyed their own economy when they knew they stood no chance. +$30 for me.

ETERNAL FIRE:

Ranking #22 is Eternal Fire! They are a fantastic team and that last match against Nixuh was total destruction! 

Despite losing to Fnatic, Astralis and Bad News Eagle, they did well keeping up and that win against Aurora was really well played. 

Just last month they placed first in the TWR Eastern European Masters Fall 2022 - BLAST Premier Qualifier beating MOUZ 2-1 in the process.

In their last match against MOVISTAR, IT WAS a total fluke. Trust me. They just happened to play on OVERPASS where it favored Movistar and 2 members of EF did bad.  Hopefully in their this matchup, the team would have recovered and win their revenge match.

 

MY PREDICTION:

ETERNAL FIRE IS WINNING. Too easy. Maybe 2-1 but Eternal fire for sure banning overpass so more likely 2-0 for them.

No Idea why Pinnicle favors Movistar so much but.. free odds on EF?

Things to NOTE:

- Eternal Fire players are much better and more proficient in the mappool except overpass.

- God XANTARES (1.29 KD) and Woxic (1.17 KD) carries. Whereas there is no one on riders to do so ( 3 of rider players have a KD below 1)

- Eternal Fire is much better equipped when defending sites.

- they both suck on attack side.

1. Iga Swiatek failed to win the title at the last tournament in Ostrava, losing in the final to Barbora Krejcikova (7-5, 6-7, 3-6). In San Diego, the she clearly intends to take her eighth trophy of the season.

2. Jessica Pegula didn't tour after the US Open, and there were fears that she was able to bring herself to the start in San Diego in optimal shape. However, with her victories, the American removed all questions.
4. At the start, Pegula passed Coco Vandeweghe very confidently (6-3, 6-1). The game of the 1/4 finals against Madison Keys turned out to be more difficult, but due to stable actions on her serve, Jessica coped with her opponent in two sets (6-4, 7-5). Note that the sixth rank of the world only once gave his serve, while completing three breaks.
