SBC Summit Barcelona Attracted 6000 delegates

By all accounts, last month’s SBC Summit Barcelona was a huge success. It attracted a record number of delegates, 6,000 people who enjoyed exchanging ideas, building partnerships, and hearing from industry experts over the course of the three-day event.

Impressively, 92.6% of delegates said that they were very likely to recommend SBC Summit Barcelona to friends and colleagues. The event featured an exhibition floor with 200 booths, almost 400 speakers, and numerous evening networking events.

Those who responded to the post event survey heaped praise upon SBC. They highlighted the organization, the volume of attendees, the number of industry leaders in attendance, and the overall quality of the event.

Of the five zones, the Casino & iGaming Zone was the most visited, followed by the Sports Betting Zone. In regards to the conference, 85.6% of respondents said that they found the content extremely relevant and 83.3% praised the quality of the speakers.

Among the most popular speakers were Shay Segev (CEO, DAZN Group), Molly Bloom (entrepreneur and author), Carsten Koerl (CEO and Founder of Sportradar) and Matthew Ball (metaverse trailblazer and author of 'The Metaverse: And How it Will Revolutionise Everything').

The iGaming event also featured the SBC First Pitch competition. Kero Sports won the €50,000 prize and Paradox took second place.

The SBC Awards saw more than 800 people gather to celebrate the winners across 45 featured categories. The Summit also included the SBC Football Championship, a charity poker tournament, and far more.

Those who missed out will have to wait for September 19 to 21, 2023 for the next edition of SBC Summit Barcelona.
