Yggdrasil has announced the launch of its latest slot Calavera Crush, which immerses players in the Day of the Dead celebrations while offering the chance of big wins.

As players spin the reels, they can enjoy the sound of mariachi tunes and amass payouts through a variety of features such as avalanches that see winning symbols removed to allow new ones to fall from above. There is also a free spins round that has a potentially infinite payout multiplier.

After every winning spin, special wild symbols may land on the empty reel spaces and increase the payout multiplier by +1, +2 or +3. The payout multiplier will continue to grow and only reset when consecutive wins come to an end.

If players land at least four scatter symbols then the free spins begin. Eight initial spins are awarded but before they start, players have the chance to gamble them to win up to 18.
