Funny Gambling Tale (Part3)

Everyone here on the forum loves to gamble and it is probably correct that most of us will have a punt on anything. That is true also for the general population and some pretty strange and funny bets have been made in history. You can place a bet on almost anything these day and bookmakers are always keen to work out odds for you on some pretty odd bet requests, this story though is of an old poker player who made a bet with his buddies and got himself into a bit of trouble!

Poker legend Johnny Moss was in a bar somewhere in Las Vegas drinking with his friends, the group started chatting to a guy that claimed he had never lost a fight in his life. The man claimed to of had multiple fights and won them all and said that he could not be beaten. So Johnny's friends decided to challenge the man and offered Johnny odds of 15-1 if he could beat the man in a fight.

                                                          

A few hours later Johnny woke up in hospital with a broken jaw, cracked ribs, cuts and bruises and probably a headache. When he opened his eyes and saw his friends he smiled and said 15-1 was too good a price to not have a go 😄
