Last week I read a book and many subreddits teaching you how to become a pro BJ player counting cards and raising your chances.

So since then, I’ve been practicing at home refining my skills just so I can win more often.

I then took this new skill to use at a physical casino to see if it would actually work and surprisingly, I think it’s actually working! Or maybe its just my luck but these casinos switch cards out every couple hands so it’s a bit tricky. 

Long term? It works a little bit but I need a lot of people at the table to even do anything.

Do you guys count cards and tell me, how effective is it for you?

No, because nowadays casinos use 2-3 decks ..

online it is about 8 decks of cards and most land based casino's will use 3+ decks. Plus a novice card counter will get spotted by the pit boss or security cameras before they have had a chance to take much off of the casino.
