Women's Tennis finals - Wimbledon 9/07

The FINAL game between this two lady's will take place in the UK at 14:00(CET) 

Elena Rybakina assured that there would be a new slam champion after easing past Simona Halep, who hadn't lost a set coming into the semifinal. She exploited the 2019 champion's poor serving performance, including nine double-faults, and prevailed 6-3, 6-3 in 75 minutes with the loss of only one game on serve.

Ons Jabeur was pushed to the deciding set in the semifinals by 34-year-old mother-of-two Tatjana Maria, a good friend and the now oldest first-time major semifinalist. She responded by dropping only three points on serve in the final set to end the brilliant run of the German, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.

Ons Jabeur leads 2-1 (all on outdoor hard). Elena Rybakina, who is the season ace leader (217, including 49 this fortnight), drew first blood in Wuhan in 2019 in three sets, while the Tunisian turned the score in her favour after wins in Dubai last year (7-6, 4-6, 6-2) and Chicago (won via retirement). May the best player win!
