Cameron Norrie bulldozed his way into the round of 16 in his home slam at Wimbledon with a super-dominant win over Steve Johnson, 6-4 6-1 6-0. He delivered a bagel in each of his last two matches against Pablo Andujar in the first round and Jaume Munar Clar in the second, but his performance against the American in the third round was by far the best of his campaign.

In a match that could have finished in straight sets in favor of Jiri Vesely, Tommy Paul conceded only seven games and came out as a comfortable winner. He saved a breakpoint in his first service game of the match and later saved three consecutive break points in his first service game in the second and third sets, 6-3 6-2 6-2.

Tied at 2-2 (CN leads 1-0 in 2022). Cameron Norrie dominated Tommy Paul on American soil in Delray Beach earlier this year, and playing at home and on grass only improves his chances in this matchup.

He has been dealing with knee issues, contracted coronavirus earlier this year, and made changes to his coaching team, and despite all those hurdles, he has managed to rack up 30 wins - only five fewer than his opponent Carlos Alcaraz.

Carlos Alcaraz played his best match on grass against the in-form Oscar Otte in the third round at Wimbledon. The German made consecutive semifinal appearances in Stuttgart and Halle last month and has won seven matches on the surface so far this year, but the Spaniard comfortably dispatched him without dropping a sweat, 6-3 6-1 6-2.

Carlos Alcaraz leads 2-0. The Spaniard has beaten Jannik Sinner both on clay and hard courts, and he is now favored to continue his dominance in this matchup by defeating the Italian on grass as well.
