Andy Murray skipped most of the clay swing and planned the last few months to be in the best possible shape for Wimbledon, but unfortunately, he suffered an abdominal injury a couple of weeks ago, and it threatened his participation in the grass slam - his most favorite and successful tournament on tour.

James Duckworth has won only two matches in these six months of the 2022 season, and both wins came on grass against Daniel Cox and Mikael Ymer in the qualifying stages of ATP Eastbourne a few days ago. He picked up an injury during the Australian swing earlier this year and stayed out of action for nearly four months.

Andy Murray leads 2-0. The Brit's fitness will decide the outcome here as a fully-fit Andy Murray can dominate James Duckworth on grass.

Alison Van Uytvanck has marched into Wimbledon with a fearsome 12-2 preparation. She won titles at W100 Surbiton and 125K Gaiba while both of her losses came in third-set tiebreaks, against Aryna Sabalenka in the Den Bosch quarterfinal and Amanda Anisimova in the Bad Homburg opener.

Emma Raducanu hit fresh injury concerns after retiring in the first round of Nottingham due to a side strain issue. It was her third retirement of the year, along with Guadalajara and Rome. The 19-year-old will return to court for Wimbledon while carrying an underwhelming 8-11 season win-loss.

 Emma Raducanu leads 1-0. She met the Belgian the week before embarking on her US Open run in August. It was a first-round encounter at 125K Chicago where the Brit prevailed 7-6, 6-3 and went on to make the finals. She should expect a similar if not a tougher battle.
