Royal Ascot Day 4 -Races and Tips.

Day four at Royal Ascot and some more great racing, I had a few winners yesterday but not as good as the 6 winners I had on day 2. Some more great races today heading in to the weekend and with temperatures pushing 30c the horses will be in for a sweaty battle. The condition will certainly have an effect on some of the races today and don't be surprised to see some horses pulled up due to the heat. Below are my tips and all the races from today's Ascot race day.

Albany Stakes (Fillies' Group 3) 2YO only,  17 Runners,  Class 1,  6f

 Tip for this race is Mawj, the horse should be in peak form for this race and firm conditions suite.

Commonwealth Cup (Group 1) (British Champions Series) 3YO only,  20 Runners,  Class 1,  6f

 

Perfect Power is sure to be up there at the end and is my pick for the 15.05,

Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (Handicap) 3YO plus,  18 Runners,  Class 2,  1m 3f 211y

 

Very hard to pick from this field so I suggest going each way on Cemhaan, got a very good chance of getting placed.

Coronation Stakes (Fillies' Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Rnd) 3YO only,  12 Runners,  Class 1,  7f 213y

 

Inspiral and not because this horse has a great name, the conditions are perfect for this horse and is very strong over this distance

Sandringham Stakes (Fillies' Handicap) (Str) 3YO only,  28 Runners,  Class 2,  1m

Persist in the 17.00 I would make this the banker bet and go big on this horse, almost certain this horse will win

King Edward VII Stakes, Group 2, 3YO only, 6 runner, 1m 3f 211yds

Lysander, should take this race with so few runners will be 1st or 2nd for sure.

Palace of Holyrood house stakes, (Handicap) 3YO only 28 Runners , Class 2, 5f

 

A big field and a bit of a lottery, so many good horses running this race could go to anyone. Only a 5f race so don't blink or you will miss it.
