G2 vs Movistar Riders (CS:GO IEM PREDICTION)

One of the world’s best teams, G2 will be facing off the Spanish squad Movistar in 2 days so I am here to give you a preview and my own prediction!

G2 Esports

Currently ranked 5th in the world and known as one of the greatest teams… However, despite the high achievements they have made over the years and the expectations of people, this team made a disappointing display at the last PGL tournament landing themselves a placement of 10th. This star-dubbed team was expected to make the playoffs but lost to Furia of 1-2.

Movistar Riders

This team did not even qualify for IEM Dallas 2022 on their own, becoming the worst in the qualification actually. The Spaniards only managed to receive an invitation from the organizers after NAVI and Entropiq were unable to obtain visas. So there is not much hope for them in this tournament.

Yet, there was not much of Movistar Riders last 2 months, their most notable matches were when they lost miserably to MOUZ (0:2) and Apeks (0:2). Completely flunked their games. Their only win was against Icurus of 2:0.

CONCLUSION + MY PREDICTION

Both teams have been disappointing. Their performances have not been promising and G2 has been undergoing high costs of constantly replacing their players along with all the adjustments made. But unlike Movistar, they actually qualified as a decent team for this IEM tournament.

It is without a doubt that G2 will win this match since Movistar hasn't been any good lately AT ALL. Moreover, they have not been seriously preparing for this tournament and will be the main disappointment here.

I have placed $500 on G2. I swear that there is no way they would lose this especially against Movistar.
