Relax have released their first ever progressive Jackpot slot and contrary to the rumors it is not Temple Tumble 2!!! The Great Pigsby Megapays is the first progressive jackpot slot from relax and as you can imagine you have the chance to win huge jackpots.

What for me anyways makes this release even more interesting is that Relax seem to be using the BTG Megapays mechanic. Which to most people won't seem anything unusual and it may not be but it could be a sign that Evolution gaming who own BTG are making closer ties with Relax, Which could see Relax merge with the Evolution group. I would say this is Relax gaming first "real" megaways slot, Temple Tumble is not a pure bread megaways slot for me. There are 117,649 ways on the Great Pigsby and to be fair this is quite a good take on megaways games. To trigger the freespins you have to collect expanding wilds and fill the piggy bank. The freespins can trigger at anytime and there are also other features that can trigger other than freespins. This offers opportunities for big wins in the base game.

                                           

During the freespins the objective is to eliminate the lower paying symbols, each time you get a win with one it will eliminate and next time it lands it transforms into a premium symbol. You can get extra spins during the bonus round by landing the scatters.

                                     

The jackpot feature is triggered in the same way, randomly by collecting the expanding wilds. The game is capped at 20,000x and the RTP is split between the megapays jackpots and the base game. 9.94% goes towards the megapays and the base game plays at 86.75%, giving a combined RTP of 96.19% for The Great Pigsby Megapays. Overall it is a fun slot and a very good Megaways game compared to other slots out there, add in the massive progressives and if you get lucky on this game you can win HUGE!
