This will be the first match between these two in this playoff series. Vegas defeated Winnipeg 4-1 in their series winning 4 in a row to take Winnipeg out. Edmonton defeated the LA Kings in a 4-2 series win, LA put up a much bigger fight then Winnipeg did to Vegas. That being said Vegas got a extra 2 days off as they won their series in 5 games. Both these teams are high scoring teams and on fire. The last match between these 2 in regular season was 7-4 for Edmonton. Both teams score over 3 goals per game average and also allow a 3 goals against average. It also seams that series openers are big scoring games.
