Around 2 months and 10 days until the start of the first major horse racing festival in the UK and with 28 races across four days and 4.8 million in prize money there is sure to be some great betting opportunities to be had. The famous Cheltenham course is over fences and there are sure to be fallers and plenty of horses pulled up, this really is a grueling start to the racing season and do not be surprised to see some long shot victories especially in the novice races.

                                         

Some bookmakers are offering early prices and some of these really are worth getting on, a lot of the horses that are racing at Cheltenham this year will be competing in other races as a warm up for the big one on the 14th of March. If you study the horses form leading up to the big race at Cheltenham then you can get some huge prices. The horses racing at Cheltenham are racing all over the UK and Ireland so I advise you to watch some of the races where the top horses are racing like Leopardstown, Brighton, Aintree, Ascot and Carlisle. Finding horses that are in good form, especially in the novices races could make you a small fortune if you are smart and pick the right ones and remember the betting strategies that I have recently  written about! The 80/20% and the Dutching strat are methods you should be using with such a large amount of runners in the Cheltenham races. As always Good Luck!
