First half into the 3rd map and Liquid dominates on defense! Over for OG?

OH NOOO... OG JUST TOGGLED AND IS PLAYING SO DIFFERENTLY.

This map is statistically and factually MORE advantageous for the T side. What's going onn, it's now 8-11 for OG

I doubled guessed myself, LIQUID played so strong the past 2 maps and their potential to take his major is LOOKING REAL. They have secured grand finals and Elige and Yekindar destroyed the game. GGs. Good run by OG, NTTT

Insane performance by G2 and their comeback against faze! From a 4-11 disadvantage, G2 was able to climb all the way back up to finish the game with a 16-13 because all members finally stood up and played how the game was meant to be.

They were able to clear the semis with a 2-0 and now will compete against team Liquid in the finals. Such an unexpected matchup, who would’ve ever thought?

The meta is changing and leaderboard is crumbling, it is about time we see a new shift in the scalings and it is now safe to say, G2 who was previously eliminated from Rio is the top5 teams in the world right now… Rip the faze, navi, vitality era. They’ve fallen 🙏

MY PREDICTION:

Both teams and all their players have been playing really good! EVEN n1tro from liquid has started performing WAY past our expectations and it says a lot. 
 

Liquid started the tournament off by beating the previous major winners - Outsiders 2-1 but lost to FaZe 1-2 after a failure on the 2nd map to close the game off with a 2-0. They learned from this mistake and we never saw it happened again! After their victory against NaVi and OG led by nitro, this team will prove tough in the finals against G2

G2:

The thing I’m most impressed with is the impact hooxi has this major. He went in with a 0.89 KD before all this happened when G2 was still losing. Now he’s managing to get so many frags and his calls are magnificent. He was able to predict his opponents every single step and repositioned his teams accordingly! G2 has the unstoppable awper m0nesy, jks with his new m4a1 meta (he started doing better with this gun), and the other 2 teammates doing lineups successfully and carrying their own weight.

In some eye’s it’ll be hard to see G2 lose but they’re known for being inconsistent and for pulling back on the sprint. 3rd map has always been their weakness and this time with the skills of both team and success towards Anubis, it’s likely we’ll see this be the 3rd map and 2.5+ maps.

 

50/50 game here, it all depends on how the team is feeling. I would suggest betting on G2 just because the individual forms, m0nesy and hooxi calls is so fkin good.

EVERYTHING is working for G2. The coordination, team play, utilities and… everything was just in G2’s favor!

jks and hunter unexpected top frag/hero plays and m0nesy isn’t even activated yet to play his awp game. This was over before it even started

I didnt have much trust in G2 in the beginning but seeing m0nesy and his teammates give so much in these matches makes me think so much more of them. 
M0nesy was so humble and thanked his team for giving/supporting him for everything he ever needed to claim this trophy. 
Claiming he’ll do so much better next time is a bold statement
