Towering Fortunes from Pragmatic Play is a 5 reel, 3 row, 20 win line slot. The graphics are certainly new and pretty fresh and don't feel like standard Prag animations. The base game is very mediocre and offers nothing really in terms of extra features. You can however land mystery brief cases and when the cases open they can reveal symbols and even scatters. But if they reveal a symbol then they need to connect and make lines in order for you to get paid anything, this can make them landing pointless if they don't make a win but like I said sometimes they reveal scatters.

           

You can get some pretty nice base game hits although nothing crazy big, a line of the top symbol pays 50x. The main draw of this game is the hold n spin bonus game. Pragmatic have come up with a new variant on the standard hold and spin game and it is pretty good.

                

In order to trigger the free you need to land 3 or more of the cash scatters, you are then taken to a hold n spin tower. The thing that separates this hold n spin bonus from others is that you have 3 lives on each of the reels. Every time a reel doesn't land a cash value, the corresponding reel loses a life.

      

You can also land extra multiplier that multiply all the wins in that column and you can see how many lives you have at the top of the tower. Once a reel has lost all 3 lives it is out and no more cash values can land. Pretty simple bu also pretty unique in the hold n spin world.

Overall this is an average Pragmatic release in my opinion, the base game offers very little but the new adaptation of the hold n spin bonus is rally quite fun. The bonus round can build up a lot of anticipation and excitement, especially when the tower starts to fill up with high values and the multiplier starts to get bigger.

After playing this slot on Demo a little bit more some other stuff I noticed is that if you land 3 mystery brief cases and no more it always seems to reveal the money scatters triggering the bonus!

Also in the bonus the multiplier is awarded for climbing higher and higher up the tower! It starts after you land 5 or more cash values, the 6th is 2x multi, 7th 5x, 8th 10x, 9th 20x, 10th 30x and if you make it to the top all wins are multiplied by 100x 😮
