A new live Wheel game is out from Play-Tech and this to my knowledge is the first live wheel that is not vertically set. The Greatest Card Show Live is a wheel that is spun horizontally, the camera then pans up and looks down on the wheel so you can see the whole wheel. It is a 54 section wheel with a full deck of cards and two jokers.

There are a few bonus games that you can hit, the Spot Light Bonus, The light show bonus and the Jokers game. At the start of each round random cards are selected as either silver or gold cards, if you have bet on these cards then you get awarded a multiplier if you have bet on the card that is spun.

The wheel is pretty easy to get the hang of although there is a lot of sections to bet on and you only get a 40-1 payout if your card lands. The bonus games have a max payout of 5,000x but 60-200x are way more common.

In all honestly I sat and played this game for a while and although at first I thought it looked quite simple but the more I watched the more it confused me. I think The Greatest Card Show will have limited appeal and there is certainly not enough to keep players coming back like CrazyTime.

It seems as though providers like Play-Tech and Pragmatic are trying to do their best to make something that has CrazyTime's appeal but for every attempt that they have nothing really quite reaches Evolution's CrazyTime level. And the amount of money they must be throwing into making these game show wheels, I myself  expected much more in the way of entertainment and ingenuity. Like I said above I sat and watched the Greatest Card Show for over 30 minutes and I am not tempted at all to spend any of my own money on the game. I know some people will like The Greatest Card Show Live  but the bar has to be raised to get people away from CrazyTime,  Play-Tech and the other providers will have to be way more imaginative if they want to succeed and be the best in this casino section. I really think I could come up with better ideas than these guys are coming with, so if your reading this Play-tech hit me up 😉
