Champions League - Round 4 Day 2 Results

Today was the day of Groups A; B; C; D to play against each-other. 

In Group A

• Napoli VS Ajax (4-2) Even though Ajax had more ball possession and the same amount of shots, Napoli was just better and was able to make 4 goals out of the 5 shots on goal. Hirving L. opened the score at (4'), followed by Giacomo R. (16'), Khvicha K (62'), Victor O. (89'). Ajax scored by Davy K.(49') and Steven B (83').

 

• Rangers VS Liverpool (1-7) Anything to say? Amazing plays by the away team, able to score 7 goals. Roberto F. (24'), (59'); Darwin Núñez (66'); Mohamed S. (75') (80') (81'); Harvey E. (87'). The home team was the 1st one to score by Scott A. (17').

In Group B

• Atlético VS Club Brugge (0-0) Game ended up in a tie after a game where Atlético had all the advantage, 21 shots against 5 for the away team and a 66% handle of the ball while Brugge had only 34%. Kamal S. got a red card in the final 10 minutes. 

 

• Leverkusen VS Porto (0-3) Porto opened the score early in the game by Wnderson G. (6') and with significantly less ball possesion got 2 penalties that turned out goals, both by Taremi (53') , (64').

In Group C

• Plzen VS Bayern (2-4) a great game by Bayern that was able to score it's 4 goals before the 1st half ended and hold really tight to the edge over Plzen that only scored in the 2nd half of the game by Adam V. (62') and Jan K. (75')

 

• Barcelona VS  Inter (3-3) Barcelona got to the first goal by Ousmane D. (40') and right after the 2nd part started Inter also decided to score 3 goals by Nicolò B. (50'); Lautaro M. (63'); Robin G. (89') and Barcelona got lucky in equalizing the match because they only woke up late in the game. Lewandowski scored at (82') , (90+2')

In Group D

• Sporting VS  Olympique (0-2) Sporting had 0 chances after Ricardo E. got a red card right at the beginning of the match at (19') that got Olympique on to the lead after Mattéo G. converted a pennalty and then Alexis S. made the final 2-0 at (30'). Pedro G. also got a red card at (60'), letting the home team playing half-hour with 9 players.

 

• Tottenham VS Eintracht (3-2) Tottenham was head first on this game, being able to secure the bag early in the game, after scoring the goals by Son H. at (20') , (36') and a penalty converted by Harry K. (28').  Eintracht scored by Daichi K. (14') and  by Faride A. (87'). Lucas M. got a red card at (59').
