A new release from Pragmatic Play and I think it is fair to say they have kind of gone back to basics with this game. Pirate Golden Age is a 20 win line, 5 reel, 3 row slot and there are NO base game features! You need 3 or more scatters to trigger the free spin bonus round.

                    

The symbols are stacked including the skull and cross bone wilds, a line of the top symbols the pirate is 75x, meaning the theoretical max base game hit is 1500x.  You need 3 or more compass scatters and this awards you 7 free spins.

                     

The free spins on Pirate Golden Age is a sticky collecting roaming multiplier bonus and you have to collect the golden doubloons. The more you collect the better and for every 5 you collect you fill the chest and extra spins are awarded, 1-3 spins is the max for every 5 coins you collect.

          

If a coin lands on top of another coin then it turns into a multiplier, the coins are not wild! Instead they morph into a synced symbol. So you need full lines and multiplier for this to really pay.

Overall Pirate Golden Age is a basic slot, it is very easy to get to grips with and features Pragmatics familiar overlay. There is no bonus buy so you have to grind this one but with Prags super fast turbo spins it does not take long. The bonus is ok but I think this slot would benefit from being a 243 way slot  and the coins being wild symbols and not just morphing into standard reel symbols. The game will appeal to all types of players apart from those that only like to buy bonuses maybe.
