Pragmatic have launched another John Hunter game and the hero explorer is back for another adventure. Tut Respin (the full title is too much of a mouth full) is a 5 reel, 3 row expanding symbol slot with 10 pay lines. During the base game mystery symbols can be chosen randomly and if you land 3 or more they expand and then you get a re-spin to try and land more symbols, for a bigger win. The mechanics are nothing new on this slot and we have seen them before from other providers like Play'n'Go.

    

Three or more books trigger the free spins and they give you 10 free spins, you can chose your special expanding symbol in the free spins and this essentially allows you to control the volatility of the bonus. If you pick a low paying symbol you are much more likely to get 50-100x wins, pick a premium symbol and bigger wins are possible but zero x bonuses are much more likely. I bought about 40 bonuses and only picked the top symbol, John Hunter and almost all of them were less than 10x!

                 

After buying multiple bonus and losing a lot on free play I eventually hit a full screen of John Hunter, which I was quite disappointed to see that it only paid 1000x. You have to land at least 3x of any symbol on this game to get a re-spin,  2 symbols do not pay!

Overall the game runs well and Prag's game engines are pretty much flawless, graphics sounds and game play all average. The mechanics are nothing new and very little innovation in this slot. However it is well made and people finding this game will enjoy it all though I do not feel like this will turn in to a classic book game like Ra or Dead.
