It has been a while since I reviewed a Megaways game and whilst we are waiting for Skywind to release their new live wheel game Jokers Wheel, I thought I would have a look at what new slots they have to offer us. Disco Mania MW Merge is an insane variation on the Megaways mechanic! This is because not only do you have the standard Megaways reels, you have two of them and after you get 3 consecutive wins the two grids merge creating a total possible number of Max Megaways of 7,529,536 ways to win and yes that is over 7 and a half million ways to win and guess what in the bonus you can also get crazy multipliers that increase with every win you get. This is a cascading Megaways slot with each win the symbols disappear and new ones drop in.

                                               

The max win on this game is insane capped at 200,000x all wins pay left to right and after 3 wins the two Megaways slots join together. Really big wins can be had in the base game if you get a good enough connection but really you want to trigger the free spins. You need four or more scatters to trigger the spins, 4 scatters gives 12 spins, 5 scatters 17 spins, 6 scatters 22 spins and 7 spins 27 spins which is the max. During the free spins 3 scatters gives you an extra 5 spins. You can also toggle a switch that doubles your chance of getting a bonus in the base game but this costs 25% extra total stake. You can also buy the free spins for 100x.

                                                     

The multiplier can creep up very quickly on Disco Mania with each win from both grids counting towards the total, when the grids merge after 3 consecutive wins this is when you want to make good connections, if you have a losing spins the two grids separate again.

                                 

Overall this is a fun concept an an evolution in the Megaways mechanic, you can get an insane amount of ways to get big wins and although there are so many ways Disco Mania is still easy to follow and visually it is not confusing. A random feature in the base game would be nice but there are quite a few wilds on the reels that aid wins coming in. The potential of this game is insane and it always seems to feel like a big win is on the way. However it does have that standard Megaways characteristic of giving you 100's of thousands of ways to win and still missing very frequently!
