Verstappen wins again in the Hungarian Grand Prix 2022

Starting from 10th position, the defending champion left Britain's Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) in second place at 7.834 seconds, with fellow Briton George Russell (Mercedes) third at 12.337. 

A huge disappointment for Ferrari was the 4th place of Carlos Sainz and the 6th place of Charles Leclerc. Bad strategic choice by Ferrari, one more, even though with Verstappen's pace, he would hardly lose this race. Not even a spin in the middle prevented him from winning with a big lead. Too bad for Ferrari. Carlos Sainz led the race, before stopping a second time, when he did he put on soft tires but he didn't have the pace to do better, staying behind the two Mercedes. Sergio Perez had a tepid race, still more than enough to beat Charles Leclerc.

Charles Leclerc was 6th, he was leading the race after all the competition had stopped and when the Monegasque went to the pits on lap 22, he returned with medium tires in second place, more than 1 second behind Russell and ahead of his teammate, Carlos Sainz, but from then on his race went from bad to worse with the hard tires, which he got rid of on lap 50, but by then there was nothing he could do.
