Have you ever sat down at a roulette wheel and thought that the craftsmanship that went into making the wheel is amazing? Well probably not but I have and I guess because that is just the type of person that I am. Roulette wheels have to be extremely precise. All the sections have to be exactly the same with no flaws or imperfections that could give either the house or the player an edge. Roulette wheels are made out of various materials, wood, plastic, metal and resins. A single roulette wheel that is high end casino standard still takes over 1 week to make and that is even with modern day tools and machinery. Of course you can probably get wheels made in China that are massed produced but the wheels I am talking about are the ones crafted from Walnut and semi-precious metals. SO I found a You Tube video for you to watch and it is only short, so take the time to watch it. Then next time you sit down and have a few spins on the Devil's wheels, think of the people that have made the wheel getting it as precisely fair and accurate as humanly possible.

Seeing as we are on the subject, I remember this video from a few years ago, I thought it was 5-10 years ago I saw this live on UK TV but I think it is closer to 15-20 years lol. Just shows how old I am getting :(, well anyways it was one of the most intense roulette spins I have ever seen and it has a story behind it. A UK guy called Ashley Revell sold everything he had, house, car, clothes, watch, TV, literally everything he owned. He wasn't a rich guy, so when he had sold everything it came to a total of 136,000$.

A full one part television program was made about Ashley and his mission and the TV crew followed him to a Vegas Casino where a crowd gathered to watch him put his whole life on 1 single spin of the Devil's wheel. Roulette is called the Devil's wheel sometimes because if you add up all the numbers on the whole wheel then they add up to 666- The Number of the Beast! SO I found another video well worth watching on You Tube, unfortunately it is not the whole program, just the spin where he puts 136,000$ on Red. I myself have thought about doing something like this before but luckily my girlfriend would never let me do it 😄 Watch the vid below. (It looks like it has been uploaded to You Tube from an old VHS cassette, for those of you that don't know what that is, it was the thing before DVD's. So not great quality picture!)
