STARZLE- BetGames-New Live Game Show on Entain Platforms.

I have posted before about how quickly the "game show" section on live casinos is growing and it seems it's expanding so fast that I stumbled across several new games that I did't even know existed! Starzle looks a little bit like a Mega Ball game but in fact it is way more complicated and feels much more like a game show, there are a lot of side bets you can play and only 6 balls are drawn each round.

Starzle is set in a live studio and features a helpful game hosts and a great chat feature where you can interact with other players and a live chat moderator. So if you have any questions they are answered quickly  and believe me this game is quite complicated to get to grips with at first, so the live chat comes in very handy.

At the start of each round a bonus number is selected at random, you can see on the image above that 40 has been selected as the bonus number. If this number is one of the 6 balls drawn then a bonus round is triggered and you are taken to another part of the studio where the bonus round begins.

This is not a guaranteed payout! The bonus round is a game of skill and nerve of when to collect the prize, the host hits the diamond plunger and each time it is pressed a card is revealed. Behind each card is either a multiplier, a booster or a bust card. You obviously want to avoid the bust cards, which can be revealed at anytime. If a bust card is drawn and you have not collected then you lose everything.

You have to of placed a bet on the Starzle bonus round and this is where the betting gets a bit complicated. Unlike Mega Ball where you just buy cards and hope for the best, Starzle has quite a few side bets that you have to bet on individually in order to win.

                                                           

 

There are more side bets than I have shown in the images above and below and there is also some handy stats for those that like looking for patterns in the numbers that have being drawn by the ball machine, the ball machine looks pretty cool by the way and the hosts already have quite a few nick names for it.

                                                                               

Now like I have said this is quite a complicated live casino game to pick up and I think that BetGames have over estimated the intelligence level of your average online casino player. I think that most people like a game that is very simple and intuitive, Starzle takes some strategy and planning but once you actually get the hang of things and know what you are betting on, the game becomes a lot more appealing and fun.

                                                                          

Above is the main bet and again you have a lot of options, having a strategic mind will help a lot. There are also a lot of odds to work out if your playing to try and make Starzle profitable but if you are just playing for fun and trying to hit big then just click some buttons and see what happens.

No doubt about it Starzle has potential to be a popular game but its complexity may put some off from playing. Starzle feels a lot more like a "game show" compared to Mega Ball which is much more comparable to Bingo and the fact that this game was released mid August 2022 and I have only just found it says a lot! I love Mega Ball style games and would have played this for sure if I knew about it.

I played this game at around 10am GMT and there was only one other player playing, the host was very friendly and interacted with me very nicely and the chat moderator was also helpful. The fact that there was only one other player playing suggests that this game has not been advertised very well but maybe it picks up in peak times.  It is a shame more people have not found Starzle, the game has huge potential and you can win up to 250,000x. The RTP ranges from 98.4% to 93.85% and you can see for yourself below at how complicated the RTP charts are.

                                                   

 

                                                

There is a lot to bet on and this may deter some people from playing, you need to be switched on to play this game and maybe have a degree in math. Playing this game when you have had a few drinks maybe be quite taxing and I am not sure that is what people want, especially those that just play for fun. The studio and game play runs smoothly and aesthetically it is very good, it would be nice to see a game that competes with Evolution's Mega Ball but I don't quite think this is the one.
