I guess to someone that does not gamble, they may think that gambling tools are some physical device used to aid you in gambling. Like a lucky hammer or something I don't know. But I am sure most of you are aware on the forum what gambling tools are and how to use them. Gambling tools are something that all regulated casinos now have to offer players as standard. The tools are used to limit how much you spend, how much time you play, how much you can lose and other stuff. They are basically designed to aid responsible gambling and truth be told casinos probably don't want to use them but they have to tell you about them by law.

Five of the Most used Gambling Tools:

  • Deposit Limits: Let you set a limit on how much you can deposit with in a specific period of time. Once the deposit limit has been reached you will not be able to deposit anymore until the limits have been reset.
  • Time Limits: This responsible gambling tool limits the time spent on an online gambling site. Once you have used up your playtime you will be forced to take a break.
  • Loss Limits: Setting a loss limit is another variation on a deposit limit. Once a player loses a certain amount of money, they will not be able to play any more games and can even be logged out automatically from the casino.
  • Time Outs: You can time out your account for an amount of time that you chose. Time outs are a great way to step away and clear your head, especially if you start to find yourself chasing losses.
  • Self-Exclusion: Not so much a tool, but self-exclusion is a way for a player to ban themselves from logging on to an online poker room, casino, or sportsbook and this can even apply to the live casino scene as well. It is like a permanent time out and can block your account for ever, so think carefully before using this tool!
