Evolution Gaming was founded in April 2006 and they have their headquarters in Sweden, I have written a quite a few posts about them so feel free to find them and have a read. In one of my last posts I was saying what a great investment their shares would be and boy was I wrong!

There are a lot of problems around the world currently as I am sure we are all aware but usually in times of hardship gambling companies do pretty well, with the general public turning to gambling as a means of escapism and a way to try and earn some extra cash. Earlier this year there was a lot of hype about Evolution's Great 88. A series of games that would add new exciting slots, table games and live game shows like Monopoly Big Baller, Crazy Coin flip and Extreme Lightning Roulette. There was an enormous amount of hype around these game releases and it was fair to say that I myself, Bonus Hunter and the rest of the forum was super excited about the games but have they lived up to the hype?

Well in all the honesty the games are pretty good but no where near as good as the hype suggested! And this maybe reflected in Evo's share price, at the end of 2021 Evolution announced they were doing a massive multi million euro share buy back scheme. This basically means that they would buy their own shares and own them between themselves. This is normally a sign that they think the share price will be going up but in fact this maybe part of the reason why the share price has gone down. When they started the share buy back scheme each share was worth almost 120 Euro, they are now worth under 85 Euro and continuing to fall. Take a look at these graphs:

Hind site is an amazing thing, imagine buying stock when Evo were first floated at aroun 2 euro and selling at the high point of over 160 Euro!

Year to Year the share price is 42% down, this means that they have lost almost half of their value as a company. So what is going on with Evolution Gaming? Is it that the great 88 series of games is failing to meet expectation and promised growth forecasts? Is it that global financial issues are hitting them hard? Or is it that they have over stretched themselves with purchase acquisitions and some areas are not performing very well?

I am not claiming to know much at all about the stock market and I do not have insider information from Evo unfortunately but what is clear is they are losing value and pretty quickly. This could mean turbulent times ahead and maybe even sell offs, staff cuts or games being pulled to cut costs. What ever is happening to Evolution Gaming it does not look good and I hope it doesn't have an effect on players game play or funds.  What is clear from the stock price is that Crazy Time has had a massive impact, so it could be that other providers are also catching up, where Evo once had a clear lead. They should be publishing their 3rd quarter financial stats before too long so it will be good to see where the money is squirting out from.

There is no doubt that the online live game show CrazyTime is Evolution Gaming companies "Bread, & Butter", aka "Cash Cow", aka thier "Money Maker".

CrazyTime is by far the most popular online live game show, based simply on my years of experience playing online casinos, & just looking at incoming live games from any other company, it's still #1.

How long will CrazyTime rain supreme compared to all online game shows from any company... will there ever be another online game show that will take CrazyTime's popularity... I'm still waiting (years) on when.

P.S. I really like this topic, good post, joyous to see the graph with statistics.  @Garf79 Well done, Sir. Keep them coming! 📈📉📊👍
