Great name for a slot- Bonus Runner from Stake Logic is a 44 line slot? Yes 44 lines, Bonus Runner's RTP is 95.001%, it is a medium/high volatility game, with a max win of 325,800 Euro's. Bonus Runner has 6 reels, and 5 rows. This game visually embraces the roots of classic arcade slots with the reel symbols looking as retro as they come. The base game sounds are also from an earlier era and sound like they have been stolen from an old Atari game but they are strangely appealing and add to the nostalgic feeling of this game.

                           

In a weird twist and although there are 6 reels on Bonus Runner, you only get paid for 3 symbols in a row. So forget full lines and huge line hits, this slot is all about getting multiple small wins and building up the bonus for an eventual big hit.

     

The aim of the game is to trigger the free spins, 3 scatters give you 10 spins and 6 scatters will give you 25. Unlike most Stake Logic games this slot does not have their iconic super stake feature. You can how ever buy the bonus for 100x.

                          

During the free spins cascading stacked wilds can land on the middle reels, 2,3,4 and 5, when this happens the wilds step down with each spin. The free spins can't be re-triggered but if you have wilds on the screen when the spins are over you carry on until the wilds are gone.

                  

Overall this is an interesting slots and builds on the basic slots machines of the past, whilst staying true to the original roots of iconic slots machines from history. In my opinion this game is much more fun spinning the base game to get the free spins, rather than buying the bonus. The sounds and graphics are extremely retro as well as the game play. This slot will not be a huge success but players finding this game will put a few spins through it before they bored. I am going to start ranking slots in my reviews now and maybe I should have started doing this a while ago but alas I will start here!
